Having made final vows, the professed Religious of the Sacred Heart enters an open-ended stage of growth as a religious woman that presupposes constantly renewed fidelity to a life of prayer, community and service. Wherever our mission leads you, whatever your particular ministry may be, you will join us in taking to heart responsibility for your life as a woman of prayer, a woman of communion and a woman of compassion.

This stage also calls you to live with an open mind and discerning heart that will allow you to adapt with courage and confidence to new needs and circumstances in our rapidly changing world. The Society’s service of education, carried out in the work of teaching and formation, in activities for human development and promotion of justice, in pastoral work and guidance in the faith, will demand serious efforts toward broadening your intellectual horizons and maintaining your professional competence.

Above all, you will be counted on to help strengthen the spirit of union and charity which should characterize the Society of the Sacred Heart.

“We are convinced that our lives, given in love, are the strongest expression of our spirituality.”(General Chapter of the Society of the Sacred Heart, 2000)

Will you consider living YOUR life as an RSCJ?
